Part Exchange Terms and Conditions

1. Basis of Valuation
Any part-exchange value offered by Mantech UK Ltd (“Mantech”) is provisional and based solely on the information provided by the customer at the time of quotation.
The customer must supply accurate details of the machine to be exchanged, including:
• Make, model, serial number, and year of manufacture.
• General hours of use.
• Full and honest disclosure of known faults, damage, or missing components.
• Details of any included accessories, tooling, etc.
• Clear photographs and videos showing the machine’s condition and operation.
2. Conditional Acceptance
The part-exchange valuation is subject to physical inspection by Mantech at Mantech HQ or at the customer's site if agreed prior to final acceptance.
If the machine is found to be in a condition materially worse than declared, Mantech reserves the right to:
• Adjust the part-exchange allowance to reflect its true value, or
• Decline to accept the part exchange altogether.
3. Inspection and Collection
Upon collection, a Mantech representative or logistics partner will carry out a visual inspection and record the machine’s condition, including photographs.
Where feasible, the customer may be asked to demonstrate that the machine is in working order prior to removal.
Once inspected, Mantech’s assessment of condition and value shall be final and binding.
4. Customer Obligations
The customer warrants that:

• They are the legal owner of the part-exchange machine and have full authority to sell or transfer it.
• The machine is free of any finance, lien, or third-party claim.
• The information provided regarding the machine’s condition is accurate to the best of their knowledge.
5. Adjustment of Allowance
Should Mantech determine that:
• The machine has undeclared faults, missing components, or damage; or
• The machine’s operational condition differs from that represented.
Mantech may deduct the difference in value from the part-exchange allowance or issue an invoice to recover the shortfall.
6. Title and Risk
Title to the part-exchange machine passes to Mantech only when:
• The new machine has been paid for in full, and
• The part-exchange machine has been accepted following inspection.
Until that point, the customer remains responsible for the machine.
7. Withdrawal of Offer
Mantech reserves the right to withdraw or amend any part-exchange offer at any time prior to written acceptance, or if the machine is sold, damaged, or altered after the initial valuation.
8. Entire Agreement
These terms form part of the sales agreement between Mantech UK Ltd and the customer and shall take precedence over any conflicting statements regarding part-exchange arrangements.
