What is a Digital Cutting Table (Cutter Plotter)
DCT High-Speed Digital Cutting Machines are advanced cutting machines that utilise digital technology to cut materials such as foam, rubber, plastic, paper, fabrics, cardboard, reboard, carbon fibre fabric and more. These machines are designed to be fast and accurate, with cutting speeds of up to 1200mm/s. They are also highly efficient, with a cutting accuracy of up to 0.01mm.
How do Digital Cutting Machines Work?
DCT High-Speed Digital Cutting Machines utilise a digital control system to cut materials. The control system uses CAD/CAM software to create cutting designs, which are then sent to the cutting machine. The machine uses a high-speed servo motor to move the cutting head, which is equipped with a high-precision cutting tool. The cutting tool is able to cut through materials with high precision and speed.
A digital cutting table is primarily used in:

Creasing Wheel

Optical Recognition
Optical recognition systems are especially valuable when you have already printed onto your substrate, such as UV printing cardboard displays that are shaped and require to be cut out.
The camera system optically recognises the pre-printed registration marks, this information is used in combination with a cut path in your file. The final project is accurately cut out of your substrate.

Multi Angled V Cut Tool
Perfect for cutting honeycomb, greyboard and reboard.
This tool has a variable blade that can be angled in such a way that allows you to fold at angles cut at 0,15,22.5,30 and 45 degrees.

Plotting Pen
The plotting pen attachment is perfect for sketching/marking out designs onto materials with high accuracy and speed.
Router Engraving Head
We can also configure our Digital Cutting Tables with a router tool.
This enables you to not only process your standard materials but also cut acrylic, dibond/acm board, MDF, epoxy panels, PVC board, PAL board and wood. Material dependant, you can cut up-to 15mm.
Kiss Cut Tool
Perfect for processing thin multi-layered materials such as printed vinyl, vinyl, reflective vinyl and magnetic sheets (can also be pr-printed).
Electric Rotary Tool
Our Rotary tool is the perfect companion to process fabrics, carbon fibre/glass fibre, fur, grid cloth, textiles, banner/flag materials. This tool can process up to 8mm in thickness.
Perforation Tool
For producing perforations along materials. For example a tissue box where you can remove the lid or a pet biscuit box – pressing the side away to enable you to pour out the contents.
