How to Use the Laser Cutting Parameter Lookup Tool
This tool helps you find the optimal laser cutting parameters for different materials and power levels. Follow these simple steps:
Note: "No matching data found?" This thickness may be unsupported by the power source or not in our database. Try a different thickness or power level.
1. Select Your Power Source
Choose a laser power level from the dropdown list (e.g., 1.5kW, 3kW, 6kW, 12kW).
2. Choose Your Material
- Pick the material type from the dropdown (e.g., Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Copper).
3. Enter the Material Thickness
Type the thickness of your material in millimetres (mm).
4. Click “Lookup Parameters”
Press the Lookup Parameters button to find the recommended settings.
5. View Your Results
The system will display cutting parameters, including:

- Speed (m/min)
- Gas Type
- Gas Pressure (bar)
- Nozzle Size
- Focus Point (mm)
- Cut Height (mm)
- Cut Quality (Color Coded)
- 🟢 Green: Great cut quality
- 🟡 Yellow: Acceptable cut quality
- 🔴 Red: Average cut quality due to machine capacity limits
