FAQs
Does this replace CAM time?
No. Supply total cut length and pierce count from your nest or CAM report. The tool applies Mantech parameter speeds to estimate time.
How should I enter gas costs?
Enter what you pay per hour while the laser is cutting for O₂, N₂ and N₂/shop air. The assist gas selector picks which rate to apply — default follows Mantech cut parameters for your material. Gas choice affects cost only; cut speed comes from the material and thickness lookup.
Is Titan fibre laser supported?
Vector 1.5–12 kW data is live. Titan 12–20 kW production speeds are coming soon — the estimator shows a notice until that dataset is published.
Does this include machine purchase price?
No. This estimates job economics only. Use the fibre laser ROI calculator for payback against subcontract spend.
